This Milestone Mansion engagement session with Melissa and Richard was amazing. This Dallas venue, located in Denton Texas, is one of my favorites. I love the high vaulted ceilings and large windows that allow natural light to pour through.
We started our session started at golden hour, one hour before sunset. I’m not sure if you can tell, but this was a summer session in Texas and the temp was 98 degrees. For the sake of the couple, I wanted to make this short and sweet.
I began the session with my 35mm lens. I was able to get a few wide angle shots of the entire venue. Next we made our way to the back of the venue near the gazebo and pond. If you are planning a wedding at this venue, this is a great spot for an outdoor ceremony.
Melissa and Richard finished the session with a wardrobe change. They changed into the cutest cowboy outfits! They found their hats and boots while spending a long weekend in Waco, Texas. What a great addition to the engagement photos!
